Confluence Academies: COVID-19 Updates

On March 21, Mayor Lyda Krewson announced a mandatory 30-day “Stay at Home” order aimed at preventing further spread of the COVID-19 virus. In light of this new restriction, all schools in the City of St. Louis, including Confluence Academies, have decided to extend their closures until the end of the school year.

This is a very difficult time for our families, our communities and the entire world. These closures will help to slow the spread of this virus, which is critical to protect our health and try to avoid overwhelming our health care system.

St. Louis Public Schools will continue to serve breakfast and lunch meals to children ages 18 and younger. These meals have begun serving on  March 23, 2020, at four Confluence locations Old North Academy (3017 North 13th Street, St. Louis, MO 63107, Confluence Preparatory Academy  (310 N. 15th Street, St. Louis, MO 63103), South City Academy (3112 Meramec St., St. Louis, MO 63118) and Aspire Academy (5421 Thekla Ave, St. Louis, MO 63120). Meal service hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Every Tuesday and Friday beginning April 10th. The flyer below lists all participating schools in the City of St. Louis. This meal service will continue until the end of the school year.

We will continue to provide you with the latest information about our schools and the evolving response to the COVID-19 pandemic via email, our website (confluenceacademy.org), and our social media outlets to help students and families navigate this difficult period.

The health and safety of our students is our highest priority and we will continue to work in collaboration with public health officials, other government officials. We will do our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of our students, their families, and our staff.
