Old North Academy Guidance Counselor Deborah Hoechst was recently recognized for being an extraordinary advocate for youth mental health and suicide prevention efforts. Ms. Hoechst received CHADS Coalition for Mental Health's "Lighthouse Award."
Mentor Mark Cohen nominated Ms. Hoechst saying, “Debby is passionate about her students and is always searching for ways to get them additional services that can't be provided by her and her school alone. She welcomes CHADS into her building as well as other organizations that are all in partnership to do what is right and good for the students at Confluence Academy Old North.”
