Hard work deserves to be celebrated, and thanks to the partnership between Old North Academy and Walker's Winners, students who set ambitious goals and achieved them were treated to a special day at Busch Stadium.
Old North Academy's Goal Getters, who met or exceeded their stretch goals through High Achievement, Consistent and Purposeful Effort, or Most Improvement, were recognized. Students and their families enjoyed a pre-game celebration lunch before cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals in an exciting 5–3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.
Founded by St. Louis Cardinals outfielder, and Home Run Derby Champion, Jordan Walker and his mother, Katrina M. Walker, Walker's Winners is dedicated to promoting academic achievement, holistic well-being, and personal empowerment through meaningful programs and partnerships. Their partnership with Confluence Academies recognizes students for their dedication in the classroom while encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.
